Inspection Intervals & Legal Requirements
LOLER regulations require lifting equipment on coaches to be examined at specific intervals to remain compliant and safe for use.
LOLER inspections are required:
Before initial use of lifting equipment at each location
Every 6 months for lifting equipment and accessories used to lift people
Every 12 months for other lifting equipment
